Well - I do but they are on my phone and I've got to set up the email feature. Just thought (if anyone actually looks at this...) that I'd record some observations about the girls.

When we were at the park today Alyssa laughed hysterically at Jadyn when she was swinging on the swing. Don't know why but it made her very happy until she got the hiccups and had to stop.

Jadyn asked today why green was go and red was stop...how do you answer that?? She loves her new chair from Grammie and just had to eat breakfast in it while she watched Sesame Street.

Jadyn got more cotton...the deal was that she could only have a few pieces at a time...this has turned in to it can only be dumped out on a bed - she's sleeping with most of it right now - just glad I'm not picking it up from the floor all the time anymore. Tonight she went into our bathroom and peeked at the q-tips. Came out and was laughing - I'm just laughing at the qtips she said. Can i have one for my ears?? I guess the original love still lives on.

Alyssa is a doll... loves to smile...loves to put stuff in her mouth - found she can eat her toes while sitting in her highchair. That made her happy!!! Almost six months - wow - time does fly.

Alyssa loves anything that can go in her mouth!! 

Jadyn loved this Home Depot hat at church. Had to take off the barettes so it would fit right.

Adrienne's mom read to Jadyn every night. Sometimes for almost an hour straight. 

Jadyn goes multicultural. (See Adrienne, I could have said multinational, but I didn't...until just now...oh well, it's progress...sort of) 

Jadyn liked helping make dinner at the Hamlin's. Here she's preparing salad in the bathroom. Their kitchen was in the midst of being remodeled but they still allowed "Hurricane Tipton" to descend upon them. Good people. 

Looks like she's comtemplating something, yeah? Yeah, she's contemplating taking a pee on the beach. 

Done contemplating...guess what that means. 

Jadyn ditches the sandcastle to escape the killer six-inch wave.

Adrienne showed Jadyn how to slide down the side of the embankment by this stream that fed into the ocean. Needless to say she loved it. 

With Adrienne's help - she is hiding below Alyssa holding her up - we attempted to stage a sisters at the beach picture. 

Alyssa found her toes on this trip and enjoys sucking on them as much as her sister did at this age. 

Adrienne was helping Jadyn at the touch pool and trying to get her to touch the sea cucumber and this other thing I can't remember the name of but Jadyn was very timid and really didn't want to touch much.

We went to Sea Life Park and saw dolphins swimming in this tank. We missed this show but saw another one...sort of . Jadyn got scared by this one pirate guy so she and I had to go to the sandbox for the rest of the show.

We got sparklers for New Year's Eve but Jadyn didn' t really like them. So Adrienne, John, and I just twirled some around. They aren't quite as fun as an adult as they were when I was ten :) 

Alyssa got a taste of poi - thanks to Adrienne. She wasn't sure about though - but then that's the face she gives to me when I give her cereal every day. 

Hanging out at the beach.

She spent most of the time at the beach building - or having us build - sandcastles. That and running from the ocean. She kept asking us to take her out to the buoy that Adrienne and John would swim out to. She didn't quite understand that it was too far for them to swim with her to. Then at another beach she saw the same type of buoy and said that that was her buoy.

We went to the beach almost every day. Jadyn would say "Yeah...the beach!!" and put her hands above her head as if she had won a prize :). 

This is us after climbing up a really long time to the top of Diamond Head Crater in Hawaii.
